• expect 30-45 min of your time to be either face-to-face or virtual evaluation.

• includes brief assessment from both Internal Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives

• discuss our services, approaches to care and prices offered

• if you consider us a good fit for your healthcare needs, we will proceed with onboarding

Internal Medicine

• May be billable to insurance depending on your plan (once our credentialing and contracting is completed)

• if you do not have insurance coverage we offer cash plans

• Coverage varies by diagnosis and visit type

• We can provide superbills if needed

• we are currently in the process of contracting with major payors in WA state. (our website will be updated with information as soon as contracting is completed and are able to bill your insurance plan)

Acupuncture

• Often covered by some insurance plans for certain conditions (must check eligibility/benefits)

• Coverage varies by diagnosis (pain, migraines, nausea are commonly covered)

• Cash options available for TCM pattern diagnosis not covered by insurances or for maintenance plans outside of what insurances cover

• Copays, deductibles or coinsurance may apply

• Reimbursement for a 45-minute acupuncture session typically involves billing one unit of CPT 97810 (initial 15 min) and two units of CPT 97811 (additional 15 min each). Any time past that time is considered extended time and will be billed in 15min increments according to CMS fee schedule for CPT 97811. Typical acupuncture session do not extend past 45min sessions.

  For Cash-pay Only:

• If you do not carry insurance or you choose not to bill insurances (insurances cover only certain diagnosis for acupuncture) we offer cash options.

  • Initial Visit Total Payment: $135

  • Follow up visits: $100

Herbal Medicine

• Always self‑pay

• Price will be set based on Cost of Herbs and Consultation Fee

  Cost of herbs: Price of formula varies based on formulation design and it is separate from consultation fee.

    • in line with CPT code 99202, 99203 or 99204 depending on complexity of conditions treated.

  • FOLLOW UP

    • in line with CPT codes 99212 or 99213 depending on complexity of your medical condition
